A film production across Japan and Australia
The Brighton Miracle is an independent film about Japan’s victory over South Africa in rugby in 2015. With filming planned across Australia and Japan, the role covered production and casting for the Japanese part of the shoot.
Planning the shoot and previsualisation
Early discussions with director Max Mannix considered using LiDAR scans of the Brighton stadium, crowd simulation and casting a rugby team. The approach ultimately involved intercutting original match footage with the film. The role also included work on part of the previsualisation.
